About Us

Welcome on behalf of Chair of Churches Together for Worthing

Welcome. You've come to the 'one-stop shop' for the Worthing church. We believe that all of our fifty or so separate congregations - whatever their apparent differences - together make up the one church of Jesus Christ in this town. Here - when all details are uploaded - you will find where and what each of those fifty is - its address, its leadership, its activities, especially any upcoming events.
We are currently inviting a whole range of organistions to join, organisations that are not 'churches' as such but, as Christian initiatives, work in and for the community. Some are Christian charities concerned with poverty alleviation, humanitarian aid and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ - such as Link to Hope (frormerly Link Romania). Some are charitable foundations - such as Worthing Churches Homeless Projects or the Food Bank.  Some are missionary - such as FEBA or Arab World Ministries . Some are businesses - such as CPO or Verite. And some are a mix of different aims and objectives - such as the newspaper, Heart. All are supported by the churches to a greater or lesser extent and all contribute to the rich tapestry of Christian work and witness that we have here in Worthing. Our hope and expectation is that all of these will, in future, be accessible through this site.

About this website

The website is maintained by Rob White. Each church or organisation that is registered is able to login and update it's own page and add it's own news and events. Finally you can follow us on twitter and facebook through clicking the links on the home page if that's the way you prefer to keep in touch.

If you would like to register your church or organisation please contact Rob by email. As we get the site going we could always do with some help to add news and events from across the town. If that is something you are personally interested in doing please contact Rob. Your help will be much appreciated.
